Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how NIU EV ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on niu-ev.com (the "Website"), what they do, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site's owners. "Similar technologies" include local storage and tracking pixels, which we treat the same way as cookies in this policy.

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by a party other than the website owner are called third-party cookies (for example, the cookies set by Google or Meta).

2. How we use cookies and how we ask for your consent

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the Website to function without asking for your consent. All other cookies — analytics and marketing — are set only after you have given your consent through our cookie banner.

When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner asks you to choose which categories of cookies you allow. Until you make a choice, no analytics or marketing cookies are stored and no data is shared for those purposes. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which keeps Google tags in a consent-aware state, and the Meta Pixel is loaded with consent revoked until you opt in.

You can accept all, reject all, or choose individual categories, and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time — see section 5.

3. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always active). These cookies are required for core functionality such as remembering your language/region and saving your cookie preferences. The Website cannot function properly without them, so they do not require consent.

Analytics (optional). These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Website — for example, which pages are most popular — so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4. Analytics only runs after you consent.

Marketing (optional). These cookies help us measure the performance of our advertising and show you more relevant NIU content on third-party platforms. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Marketing cookies only run after you consent.

4. Cookies we use

The table below lists the main cookies used on the Website. Exact cookie names and lifetimes set by third parties (Google, Meta) may vary slightly as those providers update their services.

5. How to manage or withdraw your consent

You can change your choices at any time:

  • Click "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page to reopen the preferences panel, then adjust the Analytics and Marketing toggles and save.
  • Selecting "Reject all" (or turning a category off) withdraws your consent for that category going forward.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; please note that if you do so, some parts of the Website may not work as intended. Instructions are available in your browser's help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and others).

6. Third-party providers

Some cookies are set by third parties who process data under their own privacy policies:

  • Google (Google Analytics): https://policies.google.com/privacy (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
  • Meta (Meta Pixel): https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy)

These providers may process your data outside your country. Where required, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards.

7. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal reasons. When we make material changes — for example, adding a new category of cookies — we will ask for your consent again through the cookie banner. The "last updated" date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.

8. Contact

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at hello@niu.com (mailto:hello@niu.com).
